Workin'

January 26th, 2015

Well we had two baptisms finally! I've been waiting to baptise here for a while. Hopefully we'll have a couple more before I finish! We've been finding some pretty nice people to teach as well. We found one yesterday that was pretty much just waiting for someone to come and teach him the gospel, it was amazing!

Soo yeah. It's pretty fun to be in trio. It's pretty fun having the same companion twice as well.

So I don't really know what else to write. Oh yeah, I got sick with a sinus infection but got some meds for it and I feel better now. Umm, and yeah. We had the baptisms and everything went great, it felt good. Geronimo after he got baptised said that he felt a lot of peace which was awesome. I did too.

Hope you all don't miss me too much but don't worry, I'll be home soon.

Love you all!

Transfers!

January 19th, 2015

The Big news you've all been waiting for!! Well maybe not all of you. But the transfers came! and I'm going to stay in Las Torres! I'm pretty stoked! I'm going to stay with Elder Gomez and we are going to be in a trio with Elder Rodriguez, the same companion that I had in Valle Hermoso before I recieved Elder Hancock. It's gonna be pretty awesome!

We should be having two baptisms next week which will be cool and hopefully we´ll be able to baptise more before I leave. The whole world! haha.

Not really that much to say I guess, it{s gonna be a good week and I{ll let you know how the baptisms went!

Love you all a ton!

A spiritual Sunday!

January 12th, 2015

Well this week was pretty good. Had an interchange with an american missionary that's just starting out, nah well he's got like 5 months in the mission something like that. Good guy, his name is Elder Hale.

We're still going with Jaime, just that he's still smoking. Besides that he's going to church, reading the book of mormon, and knows it's true. Got any tips on how to help him?

Geronimo should be getting baptised this week. I don't think I told you about him, he's pretty cool. We found him like 5 weeks ago and he's just progressed like crazy, pretty awesome.

So this week that we're starting will probably be my last week here in Las Torres because there's rumors that I'll be going down to district leader my last three weeks, which I actually wouldn't mind that much. I feel like now that I'm a zone leader, I know how to be a district leader.

Sunday was pretty cool. A missionary just got home here and he gave a talk along with his mom and dad. The talks I likes more were actually from his mom and dad because they talked about how to be good parents, like really making prayer, scripture study, family home evening, and temple visits a part of your every day life. Also they mentioned that you have to be firm as a parent, but not hard or harsh. But that the both have to be firm, not just one. The husband and Wife have to have the same goal in mind. It made me think a bit on what kind of parent I'm going to be. I don't think it's too early to think about that, that's why we come on missions to prepare us to be parents. But I enjoyed this week a lot. Still workin hard guys.

Well, I love you all hope you have an awesome week!

Welcome 2015!

January 5th, 2015

Well everyone, 2015 is finally here, and that means I´m almost home. Actually there´s someone that´s returning from the mission today in the ward where I´m serving, that´ll be pretty exciting!

This week went pretty well. We had new years and we had to go to Reynosa for a leadership cousel, my last of the mission. So we only had like 3 full days of work because of all of that. But in those days we got a lot done! I was pretty impressed.

We´re looking forward to having baptisms soon here in Las Torres though like in one week or two we should be having some.

Thanks for all the support! I love you all!

Elder Warren
